| ABOUT THE CAR
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL TWO-OWNER NUMBERS MATCHING, LOADED 1972 CORVETTE WITH THE MOST DEIRABLE OPTIONS FOR HER DAY INCLUDING FOUR SPEED, AIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING, TILT TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN ON A VERY STRAIGHT BODY AND AN EXCELLENT CHASSIS.
EXTERIOR
THE STRAIGHT BODY BOASTS AN OTHERWISE FAIR AT BEST PAINT JOB WITH TOUCH UPS. THE FRAME IS SOLID AND STRAIGHT. THE BUMPERS FIT UP WELL AND THE CHROME IS SHINY BUT NO LONGER RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL LUSTER. THE CAR DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE EVER BEEN IN ANY KIND OF MAJOR OR MODERATE ACCIDENT. THE WEATHERSTRIP IS IN GOOD CONDITION AROUND THE WINDOWS BUT SHE MAY NEED NEW ONES AROUND THE DOORS IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE NEWER BF GOODRICH RADIAL TA'S ARE MEATY AND SIT ON THE CAR'S BEAUTIFUL RALLY WHEELS. THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER IS IN PLACE AND IS NOT BROKEN OR BUSTED UP. THE ORIGINAL ASTRO-VENTILATION DOOR GLASS REMAINS INTACT AND IN PLACE.
INTERIOR
THE FACTORY SADDLE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE ORIGINAL SEATS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR PANEL IS NEW. THE CARPET DOES NOT HAVE RIPS, TEARS, OR HOLES HOWEVER IT LOOKS TIRED. (ONE OF THE KICK PANELS WAS INSTALLED AFTER THE PICTURES.) THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR PANEL IS SHOWING LIGHT WEAR. THE TOP DASH PAD IS CRACED IN THE SPEAKER HOLES. THE REAR COMPARTMENT DOORS ARE FUNCTIONAL BUT NO LONGER WORK LIKE NEW. THE E-BRAKE CONSOLE WILL BE UNIFORM IN COLOR BEFORE THE CAR LEAVES, WE WERE SENT THE WRONG COLOR PART. OTHERWISE ALL OF THE GAUGES WORK SAVE THE CLOCK AND BOTH THE TILT-TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN AND THE ORIGINAL SHIFTER WITH POSITIVE LOCKOUT REVERSE WORK LIKE THEY DID ORIGINALLY. THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR IT'S AGE.
MECHANICS
THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT LOOKS GREAT WITH ITS NUMBERS MATCHING 350 CUBIC INCH MOTOR MATED TO THE FACTORY FOUR SPEED. THE FORMER OWNER TOOK CARE OF HER FOR MANY YEARS MAKING DETAILED IMPROVEMENTS LIKE A FUNCTIONAL POWER ANTENNA AND NEWER EXHAUST. THE SUSPENSIONS LOOK GOOD AND THE BUSHINGS DON'T APPEAR TO BE COMING APART. THE A/C IS COMPLETE BUT WILL NEED NEW HOSES AND A RECHARGE. THE ORIGINAL DUAL SNORKEL AIR CLEANER IS INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE. THE CAR HAS A PERFORMANCE DISTRIBUTOR ON IT WITH THE CORRECT TACH DRIVE. NEW STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVED BRAKE CALIPERS ALL THE WAY AROUND. THIS SHARK IS A BLAST TO DRIVE!
