My 1985 Corvette is a collectors� item � 20 years old or older � and is one of the most beautiful and well maintained C-4�s on the road today. I bought this low mileage car - it had only slightly over 100,000 miles on it when I bought it which is very low for a well-maintained C4 � from its second owner who had maintained it in excellent condition and had the records to prove it. It is in excellent running condition and has a red paint job which is as good as any original C4 that I have seen. The tan leather interior is extremely clean with the electronic dashboard remaining fully functional, the undercarriage is structurally sound and the mechanics have not been modified in any way. It has an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power seats, cruise control, electric side view mirrors, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, an updated air conditioning system, a Performance Flowmaster exhaust system, the original Delco cassette stereo system and a power antenna. Also, the fully removable top is easily taken off and does not leak. Its New York State registration and New York State inspection are current so that the car can be taken for long test drives. For added collectors� value, I have the original owner�s manual, the original bill of sale and the original Delco radio. . MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING: Engine: Complete tune-up and maintenance; Fuel system: Comprehensive intake service + 3-step fuel system cleaning + Valve cover gaskets; Transmission: Full service and maintenance; Exhaust: Performance Flowmaster exhaust system; Rear end: Differential service with fluid replacement; Cooling system: Fluid maintenance; Air Conditioning: Air conditioner updated with new retrofit kit + Receiver Drier and Accumulator replaced; General: Weather stripping replaced *** RECEIPTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST My highly collectible 1985 Corvette has the beautiful, early C4 body design and will continue to increase in value over time � especially since Chevrolet came out with a new Corvette in 2005. It is being sold because after I bought it, and had it fully inspected, I was told that I could not use a car over 15 years old for work purposes. Even though I am not sure why this rule was instituted - it seems quite arbitrary - I must abide by it and sell the car. I am lowering the asking price of my car to $11,169.00 because I enjoyed the car for the summer - I will remain somewhat negotiable.
