| Black/Black, Z51/ FX-3 with 3.33 gears. 100% legal for NCCC Group-3 RP & SCCA SM2 or SCCA BP. Engine less than 4,000 miles since February 2007. Modifications complete in February 2007, car is like new.
Engine – GMPP ZZ4 short block with forged crank, GMPP (LT4) PM rods, LT4 hypereutectic pistons, 4-bolt mains; Lingenfelter/Accel Big Mouth intake base & Big Tube runners, ported plenum (heads, intake, plenum all port matched, etc.); Rebuilt 113 D-port heads w/relief cuts for HD springs (good to .625 lift); GMPP Hot Cam, LT4 lifters; Comp Cams s/s 1.6:1 full roller rockers, Comp Cams chrome-moly pushrods, Comp Cams hardened guide plates; Cloyes True Roller Timing Set; blueprinted Melling LT4-type HV oil pump; Canton 7-qt road race oil pan; Edelbrock Victor HV Water pump; Holley 52mm TB, Bosch 24# injectors; Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator; Liquid filled Fuel Pressure Gauge mounted on fuel rail; K&N filter w/open lid; Guy Ankeny A/C eliminator pulley; Dragon’s Breathe Smog pump eliminator pulley; Summit Racing crankcase breather/containment tank system; all new engine sensors. Motor assembled by Trevor at EM. Custom programming by Jesse Azzato. Engine will pull to 6,000 RPM without noticeable drop-off, but shift light is set to 5,700 RPM since there is no power increase between 5,700 and 6,000.
Ignition – Davis Unified Industries (DUI) DynaMod ignition module, H.O. coil, cap & rotor; Taylor 8mm wires.
Transmission - Kurt White Short Shifter; new synchros & bearings.
Differential – 3.33 Dana-44 with new bearings, seals, & posi clutch pack.
Cooling - Remote oil cooler; Ron Davis Racing dual-core aluminum radiator; new hoses & recovery tank; 180 degree high flow thermostat. It stays below 200 degrees for a full 20-minute track session & oil temp does not go above 210 after 20-minutes.
Driveline – Billet single mass flywheel (12# lighter than stock), new clutch & throw-out; Upgraded to 1996 LT4 clutch master & slave cylinders & plumbing; HD Spicer u-joints; drive & half-shafts balanced; new GM wheel bearings; ZF-Doc C-Beam plates.
Steering – Custom aluminum power steering reservoir; rebuilt Z51 steering pump & rack; stock steering cooler.
Brakes – All new front Wilwood 6 piston brake calipers with 14” rotors. Grand Sport rear calipers with 14” rotors. Front brake cooling ducts with high temperature hose and NACA duct fittings all stainless steel braided lines.
Suspension – Koni (yellow) Single Adjustable shocks w/poly bushings; 30/24mm sway bars w/poly bushings (Challenge Car); EM heim joints on rear sway bar; DRM heim joints on front sway bar; DRM heim joint solid trailing arms & camber/strut rods; Energy Suspension poly bushing upper & lower a-arms; new GM ball joints & tie rod ends; lowered 1.25” front & rear (rear is ¼” higher than front measured from frame); new Z51 springs front & rear; R-D Racing Camber Brace; Custom machined upper control arm spacers (factory fat & skinny) that allow increasing front negative camber settings.
Exhaust – Hooker coated long tube headers; custom front y-pipe; rear y-pipe w/flanged ends; one pair flanged straight pipes; one pair flanged Flowmaster mufflers w/downturn tips – all coated.
Interior - Cobra driver & passenger seats (driver’s has electric slider); SCCA legal roll cage withNCCC/SCCA legal 5-point belts (pair); on board fire extinguisher system; 5” SuperTach with amber shift light; Red ‘shift light size’ low oil pressure warning light with 15 PSI sender; Mike Bohannon billet aluminum throttle pedal mount.
Wheels – Grand Sport chrome 17” x 11” wheels & brand new Hoosier 315 tires.
Fluids – Mobil-1 10-30 engine, Red Line power steering, Castrol 10-60 (BMW) transmission, GM clutch & differential w/posi additive, ATE SuperBlue high temp brake, distilled water & Red Line Water Wetter.
Misc – EM SFI-approved Kevlar explosion-proof bell housing blanket. New GMPP high volume fuel pump. New NAPA alternator & Optima battery. New weather stripping on doors, targa, & hatch. Air duct intakes and radiator feed area below front bumper have screens to keep debris out.
