Vehicle Description :
-1985 Red Chevrolet Corvette Coupe with removable hard-top
-Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Conversion : Provided are the receipts from Repair Order 3050 from 4/13/95 which detail the extensive engine work on this car. According to the paperwork, the 383 CID engine received the following: Check/Polish Crank Shaft, Balance Engine Assembly V8 EXT, Recondition Connecting Rod -1,Pin Fit Piston - MISC - 1 hour,Hang Pistons on Rods -8,Engine Assembly - Short Stack, Wash /Prep parts for assembly.
-Dynotech Engineering receipts and Dyno Report from 9/2/95 document Max Power = 346.14 and Max Torque = 410.35 (433 BHP and 513 BTQ)
-I have read from a price perspective, few 1985 Lingenfelter Corvette conversions are found and offered for sale today. On a comparative basis, a Callaway Twin Turbo motor was offered in 1987-91 at an option price of $20-30,000 depending on the model year. In today's market, the Callaway option will add $10,000 to the average resale price of a Corvette.
