Nearly all original and not modified in any way, this C3 is just waiting for its new owner to show it some love and some dedication. With its sleek lines along with show-stopping Black and Silver paint scheme and details, the 1978 Corvette Pace Car was no doubt the car to have in a time when muscle car interest was waning. Although she's not much to look at now, her rough edges are only skin deep -- this 78 Pace Car starts right up from a cold start every time and runs just as good if not better than many restored C3s. Both the headlights and wipers work on this car, which is nearly unheard of for a project status C3. All gauges work at this time, with the typical exception of the clock and the trip meter. The car is equipped with a power antenna, but could probably use either a new motor or cable as the antenna is currently stuck in the up position. This 25th Anniversary survivor is a rare partial decal optioned Black on Silver Pace Car with Grey leather interior. Numbers matching and well optioned, it comes equipped with the 185hp 350ci engine and an automatic transmission. These cars only came from the factory one way, and that was loaded with options including equipped with power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, rear defrost, aluminum slotted wheels, sport mirrors, tilt-n-tele, air conditioning, glass t-tops, cruise control.
