| This 1959 Chevy corvette is a three owner car. The previous owner had this car since 1965. There was a frame off restoration started about five years ago and has progressed to the 80% restored Vette we have today. There are pictures and receipts that document the restoration. There is 927 miles since its completion. The body is very straight and one of the nicest paint jobs around. It is powered by a completely rebuilt early sixties 327/375 Chevy small block motor. Also the original numbers matching 283/240 motor comes with the car. Rebuilt early sixties four speed transmission (not original transmission) .Rebuilt original rear end. New springs, shocks, bushings, all brake parts and lines. New complete exhausts system. New windshield, radiator, headlights, taillights and all wiring. Chrome is new or like new. Seat covers, springs and cushions are new. All gauges, clock and steering wheel are new. New door post,(not installed)and more new misc. items such as inside and outside trim, clips and door sills. Original radio. Convertible top frame needs refurbished, a new black canvas top, neither are on the car. Hard top is painted, but needs new glass and glass trim. What this car needs to finish the restoration is to install door window parts which we have most of. It needs door panels, dash pad, carpet and misc. interior items. Exterior needs door handles, locks, and some fender chrome trim. This car runs and drives great.Pictures are coming soon.
