Roman Red with White coves, Red vinyl interior, White convertible top. 355hp GM Performance Parts ZZ4 350ci crate engine, 4 speed automatic transmission. This classic 1959 Corvette Convertible has received a body-off restoration, and has some nice modern mechanical upgrades as well. The paint on this car is very good, showing a brilliant shine and few flaws. Convertible top looks to be a few years old, but still has a clear window and no rips or tears to speak of. Chrome bumpers are in very good to excellent condition, showing no apparent flaws. Stainless trim is in good condition as well, and the taillights look great with no cracks or pitting in the chrome. Weatherstripping appears to be brand new, and is soft as can be. This 1959 Corvette Convertible wears a set of original hubcaps, which are in very good condition, having been polished to a nice shine. Tires are Michelin X Radial whitewalls, showing approximately 60% treadlife remaining. The chrome exterior door handles are also in very nice condition, showing no pitting or heavy scratches. The interior of this car shows slightly older seat covers, which are in overall good condition, but with a few very small tears nonetheless. Original steering wheel has a few cracks, but is in overall good condition. Door panels and dash pad are in very good condition, and the carpet looks to be somewhat recent as well with minor wear. Original gauges show fading on the faces and some very minor clouding. Included with this 1959 Corvette Convertible will be the original 230hp 283ci engine and powerglide transmission, as well as an auxiliary hardtop. The engine compartment of this car currently has a ZZ4 crate engine, which wears an Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley carburetor, chrome air cleaner, and HEI electronic ignition. A 700R4 automatic transmission is currently connected to this crate engine.
