Code correct Daytona Yellow, code correct Black vinyl interior, Black convertible top. Numbers matching 300hp 350ci engine, automatic transmision. Assembled on October 11, 1968, this 1969 Corvette Convertible is in outstanding condition inside, outside, and underneath, with just 60,471 original miles! Paint on this car is very good to excellent -- we were unable to notice any flaws! Emblems are new, and accent the exterior nicely. Chrome bumpers are newer reproductions, and are in very good condition. Convertible top is in very good condition, with a good condition window. Passenger side window glass shows correct date code, and the chrome exterior door handles show a very good finish with a slightly weak return spring on the passenger side. Taillights are in excellent condition with no cracks, and the weatherstripping appears to be newer and is in very good condition as well. This 1969 Corvette Convertible wears rally wheels in very good condition with excellent condition trim rings and center caps. A set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires are mounted, and show 10/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this Corvette shows very good newer seat covers and foam, as well as very good condition carpet, gauges, door panels, dash pad, and center console. Nearly the entire fiber optics system is in working condition, as well as the clock. The engine in this 1969 Corvette Convertible is very rare and unusual in the fact that it shows an M-18 casting date. The "M" in this case is not the casting month, but a designation that this particular block was used to evaluate a change in the casting process at the engine plant. Very few of these blocks are known to exist -- Corvette By The Numbers does not even list this code! More information on this can be found at http://www.camaros.org/drivetrain.shtml . This engine features its correct intake manifold, radiator hoses, and passenger side exhaust manifold. A newer remanufactured Quadrajet delivers the fuel, and the ignition shielding is in place for the distributor. New headlight actuators and new correct vacuum hoses are present as well. Exhaust system appears to be newer, and the frame is solid and rust-free. This is a VERY rare car that is sure to attract attention anywhere it goes, so call us now!
