Code correct Nassau Blue exterior, code correct Black vinyl interior. Numbers matching 350hp 327ci L79 engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Originally assembled on May 5, 1966, this 1966 Corvette shows a very nice body-off restoration with TONS of new parts that you're sure to notice. Paint on this car is very good to excellent, with a deep shine. Chrome bumpers appear to be recent reproductions, and are in very good condition. Weatherstripping and taillights both appear to be recent, and are in excellent condition. Exterior door handles look to be in very good condition as well. This 1966 Corvette L79 wears a set of reproduction knockoff style wheels, which are in excellent condition with excellent condition center caps. These wheels have Michelin Rainforce whitewall tires mounted on them, which show an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this car shows new door panels and seat covers in excellent condition. Correct GM seatbelts are present, as is the correct AM/FM radio. Loop carpet looks to be recent and is in very good condition. Center console is in very good condition, and the gauges are in excellent condition, with very clear lenses and no apparent fading on the faces. Clock is working with a quartz movement. Dash pads are in excellent condition as well, and the glovebox door is also very good to excellent. The numbers matching engine in this 1966 Corvette L79 shows casting date May 2, 1966, and final assembly date May 9, 1966. Alternator, intake, and carburetor all show correct casting numbers, and ignition shielding and correct hoses and clamps are all in place as well. Driver's exhaust manifold shows a correct casting number; passenger side is illegible. This engine compartment is SUPER clean with recent looking paint, and fresh coating on the exhaust manifolds. Frame on this car is also particularly clean, rust-free, and solid. This is one of the nicest 1966 Corvette Coupes we've had in stock in a while, call us before it sells!
