Numbers matching 300hp 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. Originally assembled on March 17, 1969, this 1969 Corvette Convertible has just 62,222 documented original miles, and is sure to get you noticed. This car comes with service records dating back to 1996, and features TONS of new and recent parts. Original paint code shows 983; original interior trim code shows 427. This car's paint is very nice, looking to be recent, with a deep shine. Convertible top is in very nice condition with no noticeable flaws and a clear window. An auxiliary hardtop can be added to this car in either body color or vinyl-covered for an additional $1,700. Chrome bumpers appear to be original, and are in overall good condition with no rust or dings. Side glass shows correct date codes. Exterior door handles appear to be original, with typical rubbing on the passenger side but no functionality issues. Luggage rack is good to very good, with no rust or dings. Weatherstripping appears to be very recent, and is in very good condition; taillights are older, but are nonetheless in good condition with no apparent cracks. This 1969 Corvette Convertible wears rally wheels in very good condition, with good condition trim rings and added spinner caps. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter, and show an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this car shows recent seat covers and foam in very good condition, along with very good door panels, and correct loop carpet. Center console is very good with no cracks, and the steering wheel is in good to very good condition as well. Gauges are excellent with no fading and clear lenses, and believe it or not, both the clock and fiber optics system are in working condition! Although they do not appear to have been originally installed in a Corvette, GM seatbelts are present, and are much nicer looking than the cheap universal style belts that are commonly seen in lesser restorations. Dash pad is in very good condition, and wears a dash mat to keep it that way. A Kenwood KDC-MP238 CD stereo is installed, along with a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers in custom boxes. A Hurst shifter has been installed as well. The numbers matching engine in this 1969 Corvette Convertible shows casting date February 25, 1969, and final assembly date February 28, 1969. Intake and exhaust manifolds show correct casting numbers, and a GM HEI distributor has been added for improved reliability. Other underhood additions include a Be Cool aluminum radiator and a polished Edelbrock carburetor. The engine compartment itself is very nicely detailed, and the frame is clean, solid, and rust-free. More recent work to this car includes new power steering hoses and cylinder, and a headlight switch. The following items were replaced from 1999-2003: gas tank, exhaust system, trailing arms, rear fiberglass monospring, front coil springs, and complete rebuilding of the front and rear suspension.
